I  was graduated from Baghdad Medical College -University of Baghdad, and after training and obtaining the Diploma of Child Health (D.C.H.) being the first (1st) in the rank, I was offered Scholarship for M.R.C.P. in the United Kingdom, I worked, trained & specialized in London & Sheffield & obtained the D.C.H. of London & M.R.C.P. of London, Edinburgh & Glasgow. 

Then I was appointed in Baghdad Medical College as Lecturer & Consultant Pediatrician, became Assistant Professor & Senior Consultant , then went to Doha-Qatar , where I was appointed as Senior Consultant in General Pediatrics, then head of Neurology Section, then Children’s Rehabilitation, where I headed the section of Neuro-Developmental & Rehabilitation . I obtained the fellowship of the Royal Colleges of London, Edinburgh & Child Health while working in HMC.

I had many publications in National & International Journals in the field of Pediatrics & gave many lectures to Medical students, Diploma students & fellows, also in National & International conferences. 

  I became particularly interested in the field of Autism & created the services for children with autism & ADHD in Hamad Hospita,Qatar.

I wrote a book about Autism in Arabic & donated it to the Qatari society for Disabled ( 3600 copies). Also I participated in Education at public level , University and Schools.

 I had the following recognitions:

01.     Appointment as Assistant Lecturer, Baghdad Medical College & Scholarship to the UK 1971.

02.     The  Ideal Teacher in Pediatrics, Baghdad University, 1988

03. Teacher of the Year in Pediatrics Department, Hamad Medical Corporation 1992.

04.     Who Is Who Organization Recognition & Membership for world Proffesionalism.2006

    05.      Appreciation from Cornel Medical College-Doha.2008

06.      Appreciations from: Qatar University , Qatari Society for the Disabled , Al-Noor Institute for the Blind,  Red Crescent Society ,   Al-Qadysia Independent school ( for voluntary work for 1 year) & many other schools.

The last research work I did on the ( Effect of  Nutritional Interventions on the Methylation- Transsulfuration Metabolic pathway in children with ASD) , presented as Poster in the IMFAR Conference in Toronto Convention Centre , May 2012 & Geneva Center October 2012.
